We should thank David for providing Kimo Hana, I mean, Charles Djou, a free political advertisement today.

Like most Republican issues, the discussion on civil unions is another deception and distraction meant to divide America - not heal a people. Do you really care how Adam & Eve or Adam & Steve live their lives? If you do, you're not Christian. Jesus said to love one another. He didn't qualify love - you shouldn't either. People defending Traditional Marriage should not cast stones - as about 50% of these marriages fail.

Remember Republicans chanting DRILL, BABY, DRILL at their national convention in 2008? We now face the reality of their failed ideology with SPILL, BABY, SPILL in the Gulf Coast disaster.

How about Republicans writing immigration law in Arizona and targeting people for LOOKING Mexican. Bush and McCain had eight years to modify U.S. policy and did nothing. Remember Republicans also engineered the coup in Hawai'i in 1893.

How is it possible a third of Hawai'ians in CD1 plan to elect another deceptive politician?

Since Ronald Reagan took office in 1980, Republicans have engaged in BORROW and SPEND public finance - while ridiculing Democrats for TAX and SPENDING. Selfish people will support the Republican practice. They don't mind putting money on the national credit card for our kids and grandchildren to pay as Republicans have done. It takes civic and political courage to be Democrats and face voters while requiring fiscal kuleana.

Now many Hawai'ians want to send another phony and cowardly Republican back to Washington.

Republicans demand dropping regulation on business practices. The result was fraudulent activities on Wall Street that crashed our economic system. Republicans work now to deflect blame by fingering Obama for running a deficit to buy the water to put out this national fire.

Part of our current crisis stems from the collapse in housing. Speaking before HUD in 2002, President Bush announced, "So I've set this goal for the country. We want 5.5 million more minority homeowners by 2010."

To do this Bush noted, "... the single barrier to first-time homeownership is high down payments ... They may have the desire to buy, but they don't have the wherewithal to handle the down payment."

Republicans also complained homeownership closing rules are too complex, as Bush added, "There's too many words."

Under Republican leadership America lowered down payments and didn't fully inform home buyers of obligations and risks of homeownership - today we still suffer the pain from the real estate and housing collapse.

We remain locked in two wars; our nation is heavily in debt (after giving the MOST RICH massive tax cuts); and every family in Hawai'i continues to struggle due to Wall Street Banksters theft of trillions.

And, YOU are DUPED into caring about who loves whom and plan to send another Republican to Washington?
